Chen Haiguang It has been found that the use of biocidal anti fouling coatings on propellers is not successful because the biocidal coatings leach out the biocide too quickly under high shear conditions. In contrast, the anti fouling coating performs better under high shear conditions. The patented product has been applied to the propellers of hundreds of large ships, and speed tests have shown that using the coating on the propellers itself does not bring any performance improvement. |
